Honestly have never wore a riding boot I liked and that was comfortable in all day long. Which is why I continue to wear my DVS’ and Globes. never wore Indy ridge before though.

I havent found any videos on this yet, but are there ways to adjust your rear brake pedal height? My right ankle doesn't really want to bend back enough to comfortably cover the brake. I'm trying to learn to use it all the time, but comfort sometimes takes over.

The only thing wrong with Indie Ridge is that they keep coming out with great stuff. I loved my WP Comanches so I bought a pair of Crossfields for hot weather, and not 2 weeks later Steve rolls out not just the Armstrong (aka, ventilated Comanche), but also the Black Comanche. And the boots last. Gotta give me time to figure out how to wear out my old pairs before dropping the sweet new leather, man!

I made this mistake and squizze the front brake by Making a u-Turn. I saw that I cant make a Turn I was Making to bigger circle. I Grab the front brake and i Put the foot down and injured my knee and crash the bike.

Correct me if I am wrong Officer Simmons but isn't making a u turn across double yellow lines illegal? I do not own a car and buying a new bike next month and truly forgot traffic laws which may vary from state-to-state. Of course I realize you are demonstrating how to make a U-turn but just verify this is a legal maneuver.

I am blown away by the quality and useful safety information of your videos. You explain everything in such an easy to understand format. Great job my friend. I am literally going to watch everyone of your videos before I purchase a new bike depending on the comment you leave for me in a previous video I just watched asking your recommendation about a couple bikes. . I am the old man turning 62 next month who wants to get back in the saddle after a 15 year hiatus so safety is everything regardless of your age. Just trying to convince myself I can ride again. First off, thanks for your service. I worked & played in NYC my entire life so thank you for helping keep the city safe. I have a couple of questions you can hopefully answer. I turn 62 next month and want to buy a new bike and get back in the saddle again. My last bike which I sold 15 years ago was a heavy Street Glide. Because I am older and weaker now, when I saw a video of the Low Rider ST it looked looks like it would be great bike for short 4 hours cruises in the Texas Hill Country as I live in Austin TX. I also want to cruise around city of Austin. Do think at my age the lower weight Low Rider ST with fairing and saddlebags would be a wiser choice as the bike is 100 lbs lighter? I am a tad nervous as it's been 15 years and I am a senior citizen but life is short and riding is too much fun. I am going to watch everyone of your videos and take the motorcycle foundation course plus plus any advanced courses offered before I do any serious riding. I was practicing figure 8 today, and using the rear brake gave me control, each time I came out of the turn, I loaded drag the brake again, it works. Salute sir. I'm learning alot

My trust and believe is weak when I try to stop and balance in the friction zone. I can roll really slow while turning, but I can't stop like you. Practice practice practice on every ride.

Nice vid thks for shring...i picked up an Indian and was looking at what i need to center lift the bike while on the lift table..and so far i think the lets roll center lift will fit the bill..they do make an adapter plate.but how stable would that be..while changing a tire.need more input...lol.Peace

So glad to see your follow-up video with Steve and Indie Ridge, the only American MC gear company that TRULY and SELFLESSLY "gets it" with respect to CE certification. I've been a loyal customer for a couple of years, immediately after calling Steve and him assuring me the CE application process was underway. I bought The Crow, then The Crossfield, followed by The Comanche, and The Armstrong are due to arrive tomorrow. I'm beyond impressed with Steve (and his team's) dedication to safety, and astounded that comfort and style are fortunate byproducts. I only wear CE approved gear, i.e., AAA in jeans, motoshirts, and jackets (all with Level 2 armor), and CE 2 boots from Germany and Portugal. Indie Ridge is top-tier, and in many cases, BETTER than some of the [far] more expensive CE imported boots I own, and I've personally shared with him that I'd willingly pay $300+ for his boots. They're simply unassailable, and I wish IR, Steve, Stephanie, and Crew continued success. Keep spreading the word, Robert - 'Muricans need to know this sh!t to stay safe.

Steve is the man. I have 3 pairs of indie ridge boots, all of them get used a lot, especially the vented ones and they're holding up very very well. Theyre the only footwear I wear on my bike anymore outside of the track tbh! Nice to see some more of the man himself, I've never spoken to him outside of Instagram messages! :)

I love this guy! Very smart. Good teacher, knows his words.. Greatings from Europe, man! You should do an european bike tour. Holland, France, Italia, Austria, Germany, Spania, Portugal, UK, Isle of Man, etc Id watch every episode. Make this a future plan. Id do it too if i had the funds. Maybe someday.. Till then 🤝

Rob, you noticed my Indie Ridge boots at Bootlegger HD last weekend. I was in the market and your first interview with Steve is what sold me on the company. Thanks for doing these interviews and thanks to Indie Ridge for putting out a great product!

I have 2 pairs of their boots and really like them however if I had to suggest an improvement which is subjective of course is to make the vented version with a thinner inside material, it would make it a bit more vented and lighter...... great boots so far.
